Discover the Potential of Your Camera

Spend the afternoon hiking around Killbear Provincial Park with us learning how to make images using the manual settings on your camera while being surrounded by nature.

FOR THOSE WHO:

  1. Are photographing in manual, but have some questions.

  2. Have taken a workshop with Spark Adventure Photography.

YOU WILL:

  1. Capture stunning and exciting images of the rocky shores of Georgian Bay Mnidoo Gamii.

  2. Have the opportunity to ask questions about manual mode with one-on-one coaching.

  3. Spend the afternoon outside in one of Ontario's top 5 provincial parks.

A Perfect Blend of Learning and Adventure "Joining Spark Adventure Photography’s workshop in Algonquin Park was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my photography hobby. Cobi Sharpe is not just an instructor but a mentor who genuinely cares about her students' success. The workshop combined fundamental digital photography techniques with hands-on exercises that solidified our learning. The afternoon hike to a stunning summit provided the perfect backdrop to apply our new skills. Cobi’s patience and willingness to answer every question created an atmosphere of camaraderie and learning. I returned home with not only new skills and beautiful photos but also new friends. I highly recommend Cobi’s workshops to anyone looking to advance their photography skills."

Itinerary: We’ll meet at the day use area at 12:45 and spend the afternoon hiking around one of Killbear’s scenic trails. It’s a great way to work on aperture, shutter speed and ISO, and get some awesome shots of Georgian Bay.

Endurance: Participants should expect a moderate level of activity (with some difficulty when we’re climbing along a rocky shoreline).

What to Bring: You’ll need to bring a warm clothing/rain gear, hiking shoes, snacks and water. You should dress appropriately for the weather. There are washrooms at the picnic area. A backpack/camera bag will be helpful. Bring a tripod and your camera manual.

What’s included: Afternoon adventure and one-on-one coaching.

What’s not included: your park day pass, snacks and water. Accommodation.
