September 6, 2025 Georgian Bay Islands National Park Photography Workshop
Saturday, September 6, 2025 | 9:20am - 1:30pm | Honey Harbour, Ontario | Limited to 8
Explore the north end of Beausoleil Island that contains some of the best hiking trails and scenery in the park, with amazing views out over the islands of Georgian Bay! Granite bedrock, clear blue water, and white pines. There are plenty of places to stop to photograph or dip in the bay.
Itinerary
The Daytripper boat shuttle to the island leaves at 9:30am and will drop us off on the dock at Chimney Bay. From there we’ll hike the Cambrian (2.0 km) and Fairy Lake Trail (2.5 km), stop for photos, snack, and a swim before the Daytripper picks us up and departs at 1:30 back to Honey Harbour.
Experience Level - Amateur to Advanced
This workshop is for those who can photograph in aperture priority or manual mode.
Activity Level - Moderate
Students can expect moderate activity with the hiking trails. We’ll be hiking close to 5kms during our adventure.
What’s Included:
Daytripper fee, and park admission fee.
Photography education (compositions, photography education).
What’s Not Included:
Transportation to Honey Harbour.
Trip insurance.
Meals and beverages.
Please note: A minimum of 4 participants is required for the workshop to proceed. If the minimum is not met, you will be notified and given the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
